Abstract
- The article discusses the European debt crisis and the European Union countries' efforts to stop the country of Greece's debt from spreading to several other countries including Portugal and Spain. It is suggested that there are political, economic, and cultural problems across Europe despite the prosperity for the European Union. The unemployment rates and government deficits of the European Union countries are discussed.
