Abstract: The article offers information on the advantages and disadvantages of robot-assisted surgery in the U.S. It states that scaling of motion enable robots to make precise movements. Moreover, robots can shield surgeons from harmful exposures. However, maintenance and disposable costs of the robots is expensive and setup time is longer.
