Abstract: In this article, the author discusses the development of "Information Research" over the past 15 years. The author notes that the field of information research has expanded and includes many more related fields. The article also presents information about the papers published in this issue, including papers by Pamela McKenzie, Javier Guallar and Ernest Abadal, and Lin-Chih Chen. The topics include relationships between midwives and women and digital archives of Spanish newspapers.
