It is important for the businesses to use new management tools and techniques in order to adapt to unstable business environment and competition. One of the new management tools is balanced scorecard. Since the balanced scorecard is relatively new topic to the area there are a few researches about this new system. This study reviews balanced scorecard in hotels and development, dimension, concept of balanced scorecard which was first interpreted as measuring system but later on it became a management system. Afterwards, It was determined how the balanced scorecard effect the management strategies of hotels and also explained the cause-result relationship between the concepts of balanced scorecard.
