La sociedad científica en el Estado de Emergencia Social.

The author reflects on the role of Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (SCARE) to transcend social and political interrelations in medical profession in Colombia. The author asserts the importance to review medical policies based on the decrees made by the association to develop the academic, scientific and professionalism of the physicians. Information regarding a brief historical background of the organization is also discussed.
