Abstract: The article presents the author's view on the "International Journal of Systems Science." He comments on the significance of web-based submission and peer review system used by the journal. He refers to the launch of two prizes International Journal of Systems Science Prize Paper and International Journal of Systems Science Outstanding Reviewer. He remarks that over 600 new paper submissions are received by the journal each year.
