Abstract: The article discusses a case brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against automobile-parts retailer CSK Auto Inc. chief executive Maynard L. Jenkins. The SEC wants Jenkins to pay back to his firm $4.1 million in bonuses and profits on stock options received during a period when CSK was engaged in fraudulent accounting. There is no evidence that Jenkins knew about the wrongdoing, though.
