Abstract
- The article examines whether the British courts would reconcile their interests in Parliamentary sovereignty and executive accountability. It mentions that individuals are allowed to find legitimate expectations on treaty provisions as the courts are being examined. It states that the treaties being bound on the international legal aspect would be of limited relevance to a legitimate expectation if the courts would allow individuals to rely on treaty provisions in legitimate expectation cases. It concludes that the individuals are allowed to set up legitimate expectations on treaties.
