Abstract: The article presents a study on the ultrasound characteristics of endometriomas in premenopausal and postmenopausal patients. Also included in the study is the development of rules that characterize endometriomas. The study suggests that masses in postmenopausal women whose cystic contents have a ground glass appearance have a high risk of malignancy.
