Abstract: The article focuses on the means for many scientists to find ways to prevent or delay cancer by using natural products instead of synthetic drugs. It is stated that chemoprevention drugs sometimes stemmed from epidemiological observations about a cancer prevention trend. A team funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) combines experts in natural product isolation, organic synthesis and structural biology.
