Abstract
- An essay is presented on the works and canons of Irish poet and dramatist William Butler Yeats. It mentions how his writings were influenced with a Shakespearean dimension and the Renaissance expertise of A. H. Bullen, which Yeats used in writing to Lady Gregory and his publisher, and the idea of death which appealed to Yeats as a heroic self-completion. It also discusses how Yeats rewrites, edits, and rearranges his works in order to present them in a right and confident manner.
