Abstract
- Reports on a case of a patient with severe peanut allergy who experienced an allergic reaction after a kiss from his girlfriend, who had eaten peanuts two hours before. Background on the patient's anaphylactic reactions to various foods; Symptoms experienced by the patient; Level of the patient's allergen-specific immunoglobulin E to peanuts and soy based on the findings of the Pharmacia CAP system.
