- Information about the International Conference on Medicinal Plants and Herbal Drugs: Challenges and Opportunities in Cultivation, Sustainable Utilization and Conservation (ICMPHD) sponsored by different government and private agencies on medicinal plants and herbal medicine is presented. Topics include the importance of herbal medicine, bioprospecting, and biotechnology. The conference featured several experts including S. Madhavan, M. J. Nanjan, and R. R. Rao.
