Abstract
- The article focuses on the notion of the people on the role of a teacher-librarian in relation to information technology. It discusses the five principles of librarianship by Shiyali Ramainrita Ranganathan, the Indian mathematician and considered as the father of library science. It notes that the five laws are important for any school librarian who might be seeking to change the people's perception of a librarian's role.
