The article presents the author's view on accepting the vacant position as the president of the Washington Library Media Association (WLMA). He focuses on the responsibilities of teacher-librarians which include connecting children and teacher with books, navigating and organizing complex information landscape, and giving complete format independent and cost neutral. He also explores the 2009 Engrossed Substitute House Bill 2261 and its prototypical school funding model.
