Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of a roundtable discussion on the assessment of top Wall Street analysts about the performance of the newspaper industry in 2010 and 2011. A decrease in intensity of the downward pressure on advertising spending was observed by James Goss. Joscelyn MacKay expects that the industry will experience difficulties in 2011 attributed to its perpetual decline. Alexia Quadrani states that the progress of newspapers in transitioning from print to digital is mixed.
