Abstract
- The article discusses how the online social media tool Twitter is being used by the California Digital Library (CDL) to interact with clients and new members. CDL publishes the contents of its monthly newsletter "CDLInfo News" and other CDL programs on Twitter. CDL developed guidelines for its staff concerning what and how to tweet, how followers are assessed and how followers can also be followed by CDL.
