Abstract: The paper gives an analysis buildings designed by architect Fran Gotovac and erected in 1970 -1980 in the northern part of Spinut. By designing these buildings as large-scale collective housing projects Gotovac made a significant departure from the usual architectural practice of the period. Compared to the typical estates, his works contributed to the organization and urban design of housing estates with high habitation density. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
