Abstract
- The article discusses the role of augmented reality (AR) technology in libraries. Augmented reality is technology that enhances the physical world with digital content. The author discusses the use of AR applications for smartphone platforms, such as Apple iPhone and Google Android, and emphasizes the Layar application, which uses global positioning system (GPS), as well as barcode applications.
