Abstract

The article discusses a study which examines the efficacy of teacher-delivered personality-targeted interventions for alcohol-related problems over a period of six months. The study assesses individuals for increased levels of personality risk factors for alcohol-misuse like sensation-seeking, impulsivity and anxiety. Results of the study reveal that school delivery of personality-targeted intervention program by teachers leads to a lower drinking rate in high-risk students.
