Abstract

Abstract: Pervasive developmental disorders (PDD) are at the moment a moving subject of the nosography. A lot of studies are about including or not a syndrom in PDD or differentiating them from others neurodevelopmental diseases, like specific language impairments, dyspraxia, attention deficit with or without hyperactivity disorders… Rechearches have recently supported a specific neuropsychological profile of the PDD (in particulary specific hollows and peaks in the WISC-profile). Such a profile is analysed for 18 TED-diagnosed children ranged from 5 to 16 years old in a retrospective study within the framework of a regional diagnosis center for learning disorders. First we analysed the neuropsychological profile: intellectual efficiency with the WISC-profile and specific instrumental functions (gnosia, praxia, motor coordination acquisitions, language, memory, attention and executive functions). Then we completed the study with the analyse of the psychopathologic profile (psychotic disorder) and language development criteria. We do not have an evidence for a specific neuropsychological profile with our TED population. Results are discussed regards to further criteria like the age of the subjects, the sub-group of PDD who is studied (psychopathological profile, co-morbidity) and the intellectual efficiency.
