Abstract

The article looks at market trends and presents an analysis of U.S. Department of Defense offsets. The author's opinion on offset policies is considered. The U.S. defense and aerospace industry's reaction to offsets as a necessity of competitive business environments is discussed. Offset policies of several European countries are compared, including Great Britain and Germany.
