Abstract

This article presents information as to why it is necessary for the U.S. to assassinate Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, if it wants to control terrorism. Information is presented on Saddam's prominence among terrorists and states which sponsor terrorism. There is view that killing Osama bin Laden, the main terrorist behind the September 11 terrorist attacks, would be ineffectual because this would not end the practice of terrorism. Information is presented on the support of Russia for this assassination. It is forecasted that this may enable the prevention of further terrorist acts.
