Abstract
- Hexapropymate, a carbamate with similar pharmacological properties to meprobamate,[1 2] is available without prescription in Belgium under the trade name Merinax. Each Merinax tablet contains 400 mg of hexapropymate. Self-poisoning is uncommon and has not been reported in Britain. We report here a case of severe poisoning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
