- The article discusses tragedy and how it works. In the play "Othello," the character of Desdemona died, which the author classified as tragedy. The author refers to tragedy as a tragic response in a fiction. In watching a play, people react in ways in which they want the tragedy not to occur. The change-of-content solution provides that it is the people's desire to avoid the tragic event in the play.
