The article reports on a March 2010 conference at the Center for Anti-Semitism Research at the Technical University of Berlin, Berlin, Germany, on the topic "The Emergence and Development of Anti-Semitism As a Political Movement in European Comparison 1879-1914." Discussions covered such issues as the use of the press and public media to promote anti-Semitism and the differences between anti-Semitism as practiced in Germany and other European countries.
