Something to Cheer.

The author reflects on a plan to develop learning labs in U.S. public libraries and museums, focusing on the opportunities it provides for improving library services to teenagers. The YOUmedia teen space at the Chicago, Illinois Public Library, the promotion of digital media and traditional learning methods in work with teenaged library users, and the educational benefits connected with creating a product are examined. Changing concepts of libraries are also discussed.
