Abstract
- The author focuses on the film "Videograms of a Revolution," by Harun Farocki and Andrei Ujica, which is compiled from material related to the political overthrow of Nicolae Ceauşescu's regime in December 1989 in Romania. The author examines how the film relates to theories of media influence on the formation of political memory, arguing that defends authenticity within media theory. The "fake revolution" and authenticity in the images are discussed.
