Abstract

Discusses a technique for analyzing the sound trace in snoring without spectrographic breakdown. Differentiation of palatal from non-palatal snoring; Calculation of the Crest Factor for the sound waveform which is the ratio of the peak sound loudness to the effective average value in any given epoch.
