Abstract

Information on several papers discussed during the 2009 3rd International European Food Information Resource Network of Excellence (EuroFIR) is presented. Topics include the standardization of work on food composition data in Europe, public health and nutrition education tools and software, and data concerning ethnic and traditional foods in Europe. The conference was participated by EuroFir consortium members, stakeholders, and food composition data users including L.M. Oliveira and M. Kiely.
