Abstract
- The article presents a study concerning practical preparation of D-Galactosyl-β→4-L-rhamnose (GalRha). It mentions D-Galactosyl has been produced enzymatically from 1.1m sucrose and 1.0m L-rhamnose by the concomitant actions of several enzymes including sucrose phosphorylase, UDP-glucose 4-epimerase and 1-phosphate uridylytransferase. It notes that the gathering of GalRha in one liter of the reaction mixture has reached 239 grams.
