Explores the presence of Bacteria spp. and Archaea spp. in gas hydrates from the Gulf of Mexico. Indication of microbial consumption of methane or propane in some samples; Assessment of the composition of the microbial community; Determination of total direct counts of hydrate-associated sediments.
