Abstract
- The article discusses several films released after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. One of them is "Carlos," by Olivier Assayas, which re-examines the left-wing revolutionaries of the '60s and '70s. It is noted that American filmmakers have not focused much on New Left terrorism in the U.S. Steven Spielberg's "Munich" is mentioned, which examines the seemingly endless cycle of revenge in the Middle East.
