International emergency medicine: Building on a strong information-sharing foundation.

The authors reflect on increased involvement of emergency physicians in international emergency medicine (IEM) activities. It states that the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine created an IEM Secretariat for International Programs and lists the duties of the Secretariat. It mentions the journal will support IEM information-sharing by publishing IEM manuscripts and presents special Instructions for Authors with recommendations for submission of IEM manuscripts.
