Abstract
- The article discusses the NHS White Paper "Liberating the NHS: Transparency in Outcomes," which focused on the need for Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) in both physical and mental health services. PROMS have benefits for both clients and therapists, which include increasing the potential to focus therapy towards an individual's needs. PROM can make therapies more suitable to clients as there is a wide range of approaches in counseling and psychotherapy.
