Abstract
- The article focuses on the establishment of tsunami recovery projects through the collaborative effort of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Heifer International to help the affected countries of the December 4, 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami including India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Thailand. It says that the projects provide animals and seeds for the affected families to support their livelihood. The specific number of animals distributed for the tsunami victims is also discussed.
