Update.

The article provides legislative updates in Great Britain for January 1 to March 31, 2010. A second reading of the Energy Bill is conducted to bring in legislation that is required by the Low Carbon Transition Plan. The Climate Change Bill which requires economic sectors to set energy usage targets is presented to Parliament for its first reading. The Sustainable Energy Bill which calls specified bodies to publish sustainable energy plans is also presented to Parliament.
