Model Development as a Research Tool: An Example of PAK-NISEA.

The article discusses research methods used in library science with a focus on the Pakistan National Information System for Educational Administrators (PAK-NISEA) model. Brief information is given about studies on librarianship, library and information science theory, and research trends in library science. The theoretical framework and validation of the proposed PAK-NISEA model are discussed. Brief information is given about research strategies including historical analysis, library and community surveys, operations, experimental, and evaluation research methods, case study method, content analysis, comparative librarianship, and Delphi method.
