- The article focuses on the articles featured in the journal "Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology" (UOG) since 1986. It states that the research on the translabial or transperineal/perineal ultrasound was introduced by Heinz Koelbl of Austria and Gabriel Schaer of Switzerland in 1986. It mentions that a paper which describes the bladder neck appearances before and after the anti-incontinence surgery was first published by Sarah Creighton in 1994.
