Revisiting the relationship between vitamin D deficiency, cardiac iron and cardiac function in thalassemia major.

A letter to the editor is presented concerning a study which analyzes the association between cardiac iron, vitamin D deficiency, and cardiac functions on the mechanisms of thalassemia major (TM) diseases.
