In the paper, the productive flow existing in the nickel producer enterprise Commandant Ernesto Guevara was described until the stage of dry milling, with an emphasis on the technical details of greater relevancy in the process. There was analyzed the influence of the amount of mineral in the system over the energy consumption performance of the milling. Finally it were identified the technological requirements imposed by the 215 - TR - 201 laterite carrier to the electric drive, according to the characteristics and needs of the process.
