Abstract
- The article presents information on the State of the State addresses given by various U.S. state governors in January 2011 and their significance for education policy in the U.S. Arizona Governor Jan Brewer spoke about the shooting in Tucson, Arizona on January 8, 2011 and posted information about her education plan on her web site. Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie and Michigan Governor Richard D. Snyder discussed their states' economic conditions and education finance plans.
