The article presents a study on the regulatory mechanisms for signal transducer and activator of transcription 4 (STAT4) within CD4+ T cells. The study evaluated protein expression through flow cytometry in which the data were utilized to adjust interleukin-12 (IL-12) signaling mathematical model. The study used a Bayesian model in understanding the regulatory mechanisms' strengths in which the results indicate that high-confidence predictions were offered for the control mechanisms.
