Abstract
- The article looks at the hazing practices of several marching bands in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). The author comments on how HBCU marching band members have been hospitalized, jailed, and sued for hazing practices. The media coverage of marching band hazing scandals is discussed, focusing on a segment shown on "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel."
