Navigating an Embargo: One Professor's Program in Cuba Since 2004.

An interview with Hampshire College professor Carol L. Bengelsdorf is presented. She comments that the college's mission of social justice has motivated her to be involved with academic travel experiences in Cuba. She says that her students involved in Hampshire's program are required to take courses such as Cuban history, Cuban literature, and Spanish language. She also discusses her belief that travel restrictions between Cuba and the U.S. should be eliminated.
