Abstract
- The article discusses research by U.S. defense industries firms on radar and other military electronic equipment capable of detecting so-called stealth aircraft military airplanes. Tests of electronic equipment for the F-35 jet fighter conducted by Lockheed Martin are discussed, as is active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars developed by Northrop Grumman.
