Abstract
- The article focuses on the changes observed in various test equipment manufacturers particularly the measurement instruments they offer. It mentions that the Wiltron Co. recognized as one of the companies which pioneered the test equipment industry was acquired by various companies including The Singer Manufacturing Co., Pacific Measurements, and Systron Donner Co. It examines the history of the first test equipments available like the 792-AFE automatic noise-figure meter of Kay Electric Co.
