Abstract
- The article offers information on self-service business intelligence (BI) system which are reportedly being adopted by numerous companies. It states that a 2010 report from Gartner Inc. revealed that there is an increasing demand for tools that provides end users to navigate and visualize data in a surf and save mode which is offered by self-service BI systems. It notes that the tool's goal is to help companies make smart decisions with complex data and less information technology involvement.
