Abstract

The article discusses a research study on the accuracy and precision of several echocardiographic methods for calculating mean pulmonary artery pressure (MPAP). The study subjects included patients with simultaneous echocardiography and right-sided heart catheterization (RHC). The three methods that were used for the calculation of MPAP included the Syyed equation, the Chemla equation, and the mean gradient method.
