Training and Education of Professional Environmental Health Manpower: A State Perspective.

The author reflects on the training and education of professional environmental health manpower in the U.S. The author has stressed that there was a need for strengthening the support of programs to develop professional manpower in the field of environmental health and environmental protection. He has emphasized that most states were having difficulty in meeting the sizeable operating program requirements to implement federal statutes.
